When you arrive the entrance to Komedia is on West Gate Street.
If you have your tickets or e-mail confirmation sheet you can go straight into the venue; if you need to collect/buy tickets you will find the ticket desk on the right.
Dress Code we don’t have one! Some people like to dress up, some people like to dress down, some people like ‘fancy dress’ - it’s up to you, but please wear something!
Start times get here as near to opening time as you can - especially if you have reserved a table as your reservation will be released if you’re not here at least 30 mins before the show starts.
In the venue our friendly staff will greet you. For most shows seating will be on chairs around candle-lit tables. All tables are shared. Other events may be standing (this will be marked in the brochure, on the website and on your tickets) or seated in theatre style.
Food and drink the bar is in the venue and serves draught lager, cider and bitter, a good range of bottled beers and cider, lots of soft drinks, and a great choice of wines and spirits.
You can eat at all shows marked 
. Staff will hand you a menu or you will find one on your table. The menu’s are tickbox forms, fill out what you would like and write on your table number. Take your completed form to the Bar where a member of the bar team will go through your order with you and take your payment. Your food will be delivered to your table. Our food is prepared and cooked in our kitchens - arrive early to make sure you get your food before the show starts.
Atmosphere Komedia is a friendly venue with a great atmosphere. We welcome everyone who wants to see our shows - come on your own, with friends, or with a crowd!
