The main Komedia entrance is situated at the front of our café on Gardner Street, 44-47. As you walk in, our door staff will direct you to the right performance space for your show. You can also buy tickets on the night, by visiting our Box Office situated at the end of the café.
We do not have a particular dress code – some people like to dress up, some people like to dress down, some people like ‘fancy dress’ – it’s up to you, just please, wear something!
It is a important to get here as near to the door opening time as you can – especially if you have reserved a table as your reservation will be released if you’re not here at least 30 mins before the show starts.
We have a bar on each floor, serving draught lager, cider and bitter, a good range of bottled beers and cider, lots of soft drinks, and a great choice of wines and spirits. We also have an additional bar – ‘Speed Bar’, which is quick cash only bar, open for Komedia upstairs shows.
You can eat at Komedia at most shows Thursday – Sunday (not standing events). Click here for our full menu. Our food is freshly cooked in our kitchens – arrive early to make sure you get your food before the show starts. Save money and buy a Meal Deal ticket, which combines reduced entry ticket price + main course from our menu + drink (option available online when purchasing a ticket on a show with full menu, not snack menu).
Komedia is a friendly venue with a great atmosphere. We welcome everyone who wants to see our shows – come on your own, with friends, or with a crowd – however, make sure that we are the right place for your group or celebration as we have strict rules to ensure ALL our customers have a good time and are not disturbed or distracted by other people.
