Main tasks include:

• Working as the venue’s host with the floor and kitchen team and liaising with promoters and performers to ensure events run perfectly with maximum sales.
• Working with security staff to ensure the safety and well being of customers.
• Responsible for adherence to licence, fire training for staff, health, safety and security of staff and customers in the venue.

Experience required:

• Experience of live music and performers
• Sit down catering and hospitality experience for numbers up to 300

Main tasks include:

• Working with the Event and Venue Managers to ensure the safety and well-being of customers, staff and performers at events.
• Employing, training and monitoring a team of SIA approved badged security staff and ensuring they carry out their duties in a professional and appropriate manner.
• Creating a monthly rota for these staff.
• Taking a pro-active role to defuse tensions in hostile or violent situations including liaising with Event Manager, Security staff and Police.

Experienced required:

• SIA badged
• Running a security team
• First aid trained

Main tasks include:

• Cleaning the Venue and Company flat to an excellent standard.
• Performing maintenance tasks as instructed.
• Liaising with contractors for further maintenance as required.
• Keyholder for the Venue.
• Testing and setting fire and burglar alarms.
• Supplier price checks on cleaning products

Experience required:

• Previous cleaning and maintenance experience
• Previous responsibility as a keyholder

Main tasks include:

• To be responsible for float and cashing up takings.
• To lead and motivate a team of bar staff and monitor their performance and training needs.
• To ensure stock is rotated and cellar in good order.
• To maintain a high standard of customer service and hygiene and cleanliness behind the bar.
• To ensure the bar is working as efficiently as possible to maximise bar sales.
• Set bar sales targets with the Venue Manager for sell out nights
• To record and account for ullage, drinks promos, riders etc.

Experience required:

• A personal licence is highly desirable.
• Cash handling.

Main tasks include:

• To cash up and bank takings.
• To provide administrative support to the Venue Manager and other staff.
• To maintain postal, phone and IT systems and internal communications.
• To assist with maintaining records and communication between Bath and head office in Brighton.

Experience required:

• Previous Office Experience.
• IT skills in Word/Excel/Outlook.

Main tasks include:

• Prepare food counter area.
• Make up Food orders.
• Adhere to Health and Safety law.
• Enforce HA&CCP.
• Ensure perfect presentation of each dish.
• Portion control.
• Waste sheets.
• Food rotation.

Experience required:

• Previous kitchen Experience.
• Basic Food handlers.
• Basic Health and Hygiene.

Main duties include:

• To oversee the service of excellent food to an audience of 250 covers during performances of live music and comedy.
• To employ, manage and motivate a kitchen team.
• To deal with suppliers and kitchen contractors.
• To be directly responsible for all ordering, stock control and food costs
• To liaise with Venue and Event Managers to ensure the smooth running of evening events.
• To ensure the kitchen at Komedia meets health and safety and hygiene standards.
• To be responsible for HA&CCP Policy

Experience required:

• 5 years kitchen experience.
• Knowledge of all aspects of catering management
