10.30-12 noon: Schools Conference: ‘Plastic Fantastic and the Planet’

6.15-7.45pm: ‘The Truth about Plastics: the good, the bad and the ugly’

Join us for an inspirational evening with Emily Penn, the woman behind eXXpedition Round-the-World, the all-female voyage shifting their sails in search of answers to solve the ocean plastic crisis.

Emily will be joined by speakers from City to Sea and Naturebeads to talk about the current state of our oceans, plastic waste, bioplastics myths as well as current research and innovation. Bath based businesses Wessex Water and Finisterre will also present, providing practical solutions and examples of corporate and individual resolution and action.

With a lively Q+A session to conclude, this evening promises to provide stimulating food for thought.

6.15-7.45pm Doors will open at 5.30pm for networking drinks and exhibition.
