‘Komedia is part of the Brighton skyline, it is an institution and an important part of the culture and entertainment dynamic in the city. I’ve been to everything from an intimate, ‘friends only’ 40th birthday party, to independent music nights, independent film screenings, film festivals, stand up comedy, etc. etc., here at Komedia. Variety, credibility, inclusivity and accessibility is what Komedia offers. The prices are fair for the market, the staff are always super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and the place always looks well kept and respected on the inside, and just plain stunning on the outside. If you’re visiting Brighton make sure you take a look at the programme to see if anything takes your fancy. The stand up comedy night on Sundays is a good way to round off the weekend, the compère alone is very funny and there is always a good mix of acts, with decent burgers and wings brought to your table!’ – Chris C, Google

‘I’ve been to three shows here at the Komedia Brighton and loved it every single time. My last visit was for the Krater Comedy Club Show on New Year’s Eve. We arrived early and were appointed some great seats with the best view (not at the front!) We ordered some food before the show and it came very quickly and tasted amazing! Can’t beat their nachos. The staff were all very professional and experienced. I would definitely recommend coming here with friends or your partners for a fun, hilarious, good night out!’ – rubyytuesday1, Google

‘I came to the Krater comedy club a couple of weeks ago for my friend’s hen do. We had a fantastic time! The atmosphere downstairs is amazing and pretty much every staff member we spoke to was really friendly. I wasn’t sure I was going to like the comedy but all the stand ups were great, especially Stephen Grant he is hilarious!! All in all a great night out and I’ll definitely be returning!’ – Anonymous

‘The staff at Komedia are the friendliest in Brighton- I’ve been coming to the venue for years and they always make such an effort. Even when they’re obviously very busy they still give excellent service. I mostly visit Komedia for small gigs which are mostly in the smaller room; it’s really cosy and intimate in there and perfect for live gigs. I’ve been downstairs too a couple of times for the comedy nights which are always really busy and I think they have some pretty big names in there. Keep up the good work!’ – Anonymous

‘Love it! I come here regularly to see comedy, movies and live music. Also for the odd vinyl market on a weekend. It’s unpretentious, reasonably priced and the right size if you like small but enthusiastic crowds.’ – Chris, Google

‘Excellent value for money. My husband and I had such a laugh with friends who were visiting from Manchester. We went on a Sunday night during summer and it felt like any Friday or Saturday night when we had previously visited – great atmosphere. Service was notably efficient and fab comedians!’ – Tracey, Groupon

‘Komedia is just Fab. The comedians are very good. So funny. I laughed and laughed. Would recommend highly.’ – Deborah, Groupon
