Yes it’s true, we’re bringing our beautiful Dende Sound System to the Komedia bar for a night of heavy weight reggae music, community connection and dancing.
Dende is an Afro Brazilian word. “Tem Dende, tem Dende” they sing aloud praising someone who carries such fiery spirit, taking artists into the ecstatic space beyond the rational realms of the mundane.
Following the success of our previous nights in Brighton, we are keeping the fyah blazing with our resident selectors Bambaman, Artemis Roots and Edi Yoyo selecting their favourite rhythms inna heavyweight style.
MC Trooper, will keep the dance positive on the mic. Expect live horns, dub sirens and delays taking the whole experience outta-dimensional!
