MELTING VINYL PRESENTS: TUNNG
After four years away, London’s much-loved pastoral pop band Tunng (Full Time Hobby) make their return to Brighton!
Tunng have also shared a new piece of music – Flatland which is classic Tunng. Inspired by Edwin Abbott’s 1884 book of the same name about a two dimensional world, it blends the group’s love of experimental electronics with acoustic instrumentation, with ‘the hookiest rolling finger pick of all time, inserted through a controversial three dimensional effects loop’ says producer Mike Lindsay, with promises of more music on the horizon.
Tunng invite you to join them on a journey through the night. A journey of dreams, somnambulant adventures, night terrors and magical moments.
This specially curated evening will feature the very best of Tunng through the years and will introduce songs from their brand new album ‘Songs You Make At Night’.
The band would love the audience to play a part in the creation of this experience…. find out more at www.tunng.co.uk
