SUPER DUPES:
Born out in the park at a time when being inside was forbidden, Super Dupes are one of the most exciting live bands around. Afro-Psychedelic Instrumental Jazz with two drummers; no two shows are ever the same, and audiences are always entirely possessed by the things they weave together on-stage, in the moment. They used to be found busking down on Brighton seafront, gathering crowds of hundreds to dance the sun down over the sea, but they’ve crawled now onto dry land to grace the hallowed stage at Komedia. Come down and bear witness to the livest thing you could hope to see.
SEAS OF MIRTH:
Nottingham based Seas Of Mirth are a high-energy genre-bending festival band with a trippy and interactive deep-sea twist. Fronted by the two founding guitarists Al Judders and C Ball Paul, their daringly inventive new album ‘Kriller’ covers everything from wonky disco funk to psychey prog-folk to worldly dance beats. Expect stage japes, UV lights, flamboyant costumes and some giant jellyfish.
