This July, we’re letting the sunshine in with a series of Komedia Comedy Club food pop-ups.
In collaboration with some of our favourite local food vendors, you can enjoy the perfect pairing of delicious Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food and hilarious comedy at a limited series of kitchen take-overs. Brighton foodies won’t want to miss this!
‘I went to Komedia for the first time and may I just say that we had the best time. Couldn’t stop laughing! The food was amazing and the staff were really friendly. Definitely will be returning.’ – Ana
Meet the Guest Kitchens
The kitchen take-overs start on Fri 4th July with Foodilic, Brighton’s favourite spot for nutritious & delicious meals. Their varied menu will feature Thai chicken, Moussaka, savoury Böreks and more.
“Foodilic is collaborating with Komedia as we share the same values! We’re helping each other’s customers to be aware of the great experiences both local businesses can offer,” said Branch Manager Marie Yat Kwan.
Next up is modern Greek restaurant Nostos on Fri 11th and Fri 18th July, whose Hove-based restaurant serves an authentic menu of iconic dishes as well as lesser-known gems of Greek cuisine. Their fresh, vibrant food is designed for sharing (and perfect for comedy nights!).
“Partnering with Komedia felt like an organic and exciting next step for us at Nostos,” said founder Kyriakos Baxevanis. “We’ve always believed that food is more than nourishment, it’s a way to connect people, tell stories, and celebrate culture. In many ways, comedy serves the same purpose. It brings people together, breaks down barriers, and adds joy to everyday life.”
He continues: “Komedia is a cornerstone of Brighton’s creative scene, and like us, they champion authenticity, community, and experiences that leave a lasting impression. By combining our strengths, award-winning Greek food and world-class live entertainment, we’re creating a partnership that celebrates everything we love about this city: its energy, diversity, and sense of fun. It’s a collaboration rooted in shared values and a genuine desire to make people feel good.”
The guest kitchen for the final date, Fri 25th July, is award-winning Mexican street food company and Brighton’s first Mexican owned restaurant, Carlito Burrito, serving up delicious burritos, quesadillas and nachos.
