Man Of Moon + Special Guests

Live Nation Present: Man Of Moon + Special Guests

Man of Moon are a two piece psychedelic/alternative rock band formed in Edinburgh and now based in Glasgow. They have over the years sold out shows up and down the UK and toured Europe twice, once with ‘Django Django’ in 2018 and the other with fellow Scottish band ‘The Twilight Sad’ in 2019. After the release of their first single ‘The road’ and then their first 2 EP’s ‘Medicine’ and ‘Chemicals’, all of which received much critical acclaim from such sites as The New York Times, The Guardian, NME and CLASH magazine the band then went on to release they’re much anticipated debut album ‘Dark Sea’ in 2020. The debut album won Tenement TV album of the year and saw them sell out shows across the UK in support of the album release including a packed out show at Glasgow’s iconic ‘Oran Mor’. The band, Chris Bainbridge (Guitarist/Vocalist) and new drummer (Iain Stewart) are due to release their much anticipated 2nd album, ‘Machinism’, on 24th May 2024.

What people are saying...

A big Thank You to Poppy, the manager, and the rest of the team at ABBA Gold last night. She was super helpful with me and my friend, who is in a wheelchair, and made it a fantastic night that we both really enjoyed. We hope to be back again soon.

As someone who works in the live music industry, I can honestly say Komedia is one of the best mid-sized venues I have visited. It has a wonderful atmosphere, outstanding acoustics, and a team that clearly knows how to run a venue. The Great Escape is always a highlight of the music calendar, and Komedia was one of the standout venues for me this year. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Brighton, whether for live music, comedy, or other events. A truly excellent venue and one of Brighton’s cultural gems.

The team working with us on Saturday were brilliant – special thanks to Steve, our engineer, who was fantastic.

I love the venue and am grateful to you for having me back!

Staff were all very friendly and welcoming… the sound and lighting were brilliant and a great evening was had by all attending.

Great intimate live music venue. Not your usual gig beers, good selection of Lager, Cider and Ale.

I wanted to say a massive thank you for hosting my son and I in the Studio. I was so impressed by the kindness, efficiency, and professionalism of all the team at Komedia. Everything was perfect – the sound, the room, and all of the staff.

It was honestly the best concert experience I’ve had in a long time! Since being chronically ill, I’ve never felt completely welcome at venues. […] Komedia made me feel completely comfortable and confident in myself during the whole show! […] Although I traveled from London, I will most definitely be returning when I can, choosing it over London venues!

Lovely, intimate venue. Great sound system. Perfect for small concerts.

What a superb venue. I have been several times. Always a warm welcome and a safe space to enjoy the artists that are more “left field” than other more mainstream venues.

Cracking little venue, intimate, great acoustics, friendly staff, middle of town, nice beer selection, fair prices. What more could you want?

Great place to see bands. Not too big . Not too small. Excellent views plus TV screens in all areas. Disabled parking in the street behind. Good eateries locally after gig.
