Mystery Musicals Bottomless Brunches are Coming to Komedia!

Let your freak flag fly to your favourite movie musicals at our brand-new Mystery Musicals Bottomless Brunch. Hosted by comedian, presenter, and podcaster Lee Peart.

Don’t miss your chance to become one of the nicest (theatre) kids in town. Sing-along to all the hit songs from your favourite on-screen musicals and get’cha head in the game to win prizes too! You’ll be whipped into shape for a lip sync challenge and don’t throw away your shot to be crowned Komedia’s very own Dancing Queen.

Host Lee Peart said:

“As the most masculine man on earth, you may be surprised to learn I love a musical. And I love a mystery. So, combining those two passions is incredibly exciting – it’s going to be the hottest ticket in town. Get your Glinda outfits out the closet, dust off your Mary Poppins carpet bags, and steam those Rocky Horror fishnets… because I’m going to be hosting Mystery Musicals and it’s going to be fabulous!”

To make things even more exciting, the chosen musical title will be revealed to ticket holders a week before the brunch along with ideas for costumes and props to bring along and escape to a world of pure imagination.

With a themed bottomless brunch (see the menu here), 90 minutes of bottomless drinks, on-screen subtitles, audience games, and prizes for the best outfits, what’s not to love? You’ll definitely be back for more!

Komedia’s Marketing & Innovations Manager, Roxy van der Post, said:

“As a theatre kid myself, this has been a thrillifying project to work on. We teamed up with some wickedly talented individuals, from our in-house graphic designer Bettie White to local stylist Sarah King and of course Lee Peart, to bring our shared vision to life. Now all we need is Brighton’s musical theatre fans to celebrate their favourite movie musicals with us. I can’t wait to be in the room where it happens!”

Komedia are excited to team up with Sarah King of Flamingo Styling to transform the venue for each event. The company has previously worked on projects for The Grand, Together Co, The Barrow Club and more.
