GAL PALS: PROM!

Brighton, we’re back! 💖After a long hiatus we’re back in Brighton for Valentine’s Day to bring you Gal Pals, Prom Night 🪩💘

We queers love a good excuse to dress up and be extra so we want you to come dressed to impress in your best suits, gowns, or whatever the hell you want – there are no rules here honey 💅

We’ll have a prom themed photobooth so you can get some cute pics in your fabulous outfits, and we’ll be crowning the best dressed prom queen and king 👑 (or queen & queen you get the drill).

Gal Pals is a queer dance party for women, trans and non-binary people, playing the best in female-fronted pop, hip-hop, r&b and queer bangers! 💖

Expect to hear: Ashnikko, Beyonce, Bree Runway, Britney, COBRAH, Cardi B, Carly Rae Jepson, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Destiny’s Child, Doechii, Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Janelle Monae, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Petras, Kylie, Lady Gaga, Megan Thee Stallion, Miley Cyrus, Muna, Nicki Minaj, Princess Nokia, Rihanna, Robyn, SOPHIE, Shygirl, Sugababes and many more!

WHO CAN COME TO GAL PALS?

Gal Pals is an intentional space prioritising queer women, trans and/or non-binary people and those of marginalised gender expressions. We ask allies to only attend with friends who are from those communities and to consider the space they take up as the venue has limited capacity and our events usually sell out.

If you are attending as an ally you must purchase the correct ticket type (do not buy a concession or general admission ticket) as we only admit a very limited number to ensure the space remains overwhelmingly a space for our communities. No unaccompanied men will be permitted entry.

THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE IN BOTH OUR SPACES

What people are saying...

I’m having a Madonna day today and it’s bringing back just how EPIC Madonna night was. I think it was the most fun I’ve had in my 30s, and I’m nearly 40.

We came here on the night of Brighton pride and had an amazing time. Lovely, clean venue with really friendly staff and saw it was clearly accessible.

Great place to see bands. Not too big . Not too small. Excellent views plus TV screens in all areas. Disabled parking in the street behind. Good eateries locally after gig.

Komedia continues to have club nights that suit all ages. It is a brighton institution that should be revered.
