The Witchcraft and Vagrancy Act returns to Komedia with A Horror Folk Christmas, a celebration of festive folky frights and creepy Christmas carols. Expect the usual mix of magic, murder, and misery as TWAVA makes this midwinter especially bleak.

The Witchcraft and Vagrancy Act blends elements folk horror, dark cabaret, and the gothic, mesmerically unearthing the sinister side of traditional music with spooky sensibilities and a wicked sense of humour. The ghostly folk trio revel in exposing the horrors of our collective past, and Christmas offers a surprising wealth of upsetting songs and distressing folklore.

Content warning: This show features flashing images and content some might find distressing, with references to murder, incest, infanticide, and suicide.
