GAL PALS: BRIGHTON PRIDE

Back for the 8th(!) year running,

it’s our annual Brighton Pride celebration! ✨

Brighton’s BIGGEST party for queer women & trans folks – 8 years and counting 🏳️‍🌈

This year we’ll be joined by some very special guests including the icons Pxssy Palace, DJ of slaggy edits Areola Grande Latte and alt-pop diva Figs; whilst Gal Pals resident DJs hold down the fort in the basement – all night long 😈

Gal Pals is a queer dance party for women, trans and non-binary people, playing the best in female-fronted pop, hip-hop, r&b, dance and queer bangers!

WHO CAN COME TO GAL PALS?

Gal Pals is an intentional space prioritising queer women, trans and/or non-binary people and those of marginalised gender expressions.

As our Pride events are extremely popular, if you are not in the aforementioned groups, we are asking you NOT to attend on this occasion. This will allow us to hold space for the people Gal Pals prioritises. The only exception is for PAs and carers.

In short, allies (this includes cis gay/queer men in this instance) please stay home this time around, or choose another party to go to.

What people are saying...

Many thanks for ‘Let The Sun Shine In’ – we had a great night, thank you to the staff who were excellent!

It was such a fantastic night! All the staff involved were so lovely and friendly, they made us feel at ease and were on hand for anything we needed.

I’m having a Madonna day today and it’s bringing back just how EPIC Madonna night was. I think it was the most fun I’ve had in my 30s, and I’m nearly 40.

We came here on the night of Brighton pride and had an amazing time. Lovely, clean venue with really friendly staff and saw it was clearly accessible.

Great place to see bands. Not too big . Not too small. Excellent views plus TV screens in all areas. Disabled parking in the street behind. Good eateries locally after gig.

Komedia continues to have club nights that suit all ages. It is a brighton institution that should be revered.
