Happy St Patrick’s Day!
Some of our favourite Irish comedians are joining us on 17 March for the most hilarious St Paddy’s Day event in Brighton.
Eleanor Tiernan
Initially pursuing a career in engineering, Eleanor Tiernan took the risky but rewarding leap to comedy in the early 2000s. Her close-to-the-line jokes combined with her charming personality propelled her to festivals like Latitude, Glastonbury, and Montreal Just For Laughs!
Gearoid Farrelly
Gearoid Farrelly once described his comedy journey as a “total accident”. Then he went on to win the Bulmers Nuthin’ Butt Funny Comedy Award, tour with legendary acts such as Joanne McNally and Sarah Millican, and establish himself as a must-have for many Irish festivals. With his punchy storytelling and self-deprecating humour, Farrelly is not one to miss.
Alison Spittle
With her bubbly, whip-smart humour, Alison Spittle has quickly become one of Ireland’s most celebrated stand-comedians, following an initial career in radio. Discussing topics such as social class, body image, and mental health, Spittle has an incredible ability to approach even the darkest of themes with humour and light.
Keith Farnan
Internationally accomplished Irish comedian Keith Farnan has been a key part of so many of our favourite shows, from Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow to RTE’s Liffey Laughs. A polished and relaxed performer, Farnan shares personal and political stories, making his shows feel like a cosy chat around a pub-garden table.
