The Reinettes are a Non Profit Creative Community of performers who are passionate about activism. We are a QUEER, FEMINIST & ANTI RACIST Collective based in Brighton & Reading. The Reinettes are excited to return to the Komedia for the second time with another magical evening of Live Music & Cabaret!
You can expect the evening to start with Music from friends of The Reinettes: Jess Tuthill & Acid Claw. The Cabaret will host six Brighton Reinettes, one Reading Reinette & three Clowns from Reading Clown School. 10 INCREDIBLE CREATIVES who will be performing: NEO-BURLESQUE, CLOWNING, DRAG, PUPPETRY & SOME MUSICAL NUMBERS! Our shows have previously been described as PUNK, UNIQUE & EXPERIMENTAL!
ALL PROCEEDS FROM TICKET SALES will be donated to: ALL OUR RELATIONS FUNDRAISER set up by the INCREDIBLE Jen Brister & Georgia Takacs. The money raised will go towards supporting 18 families in crisis is Gaza right now.
OUR RELATIONS MISSION: Our mission is urgent: fund food kitchens and find food however much it costs to keep these families and their neighbours alive, help families wherever possible to survive and rebuild. But we cannot do it without your support. Even if more aid is allowed through, it will not reach everyone unless they can pay the shockingly high prices for simple grain and groceries.
Your donation will provide life-saving support, including: Evacuation funds for those able to leave Gaza. Assistance with housing, education, and healthcare for families rebuilding their lives. Emotional and practical aid to empower families to thrive in new or existing communities.
Let’s come together for an evening of COMMUNITY, ENTERTAINMENT & FUNDRAISING! Tickets will be £15 but we have ten concession tickets available at £10. We are so looking forward to seeing you!
