Backstage Comedy Confidential: Industry Q & A with the LCA

Jill Edwards Comedy Workshops at Komedia Brighton has teamed up with the Live Comedy Association to bring you this informative and sociable Sunday afternoon Backstage Comedy Confidential. We have a panel of comedy industry insiders and experts ready to answer your questions about live comedy. After the Q & A you’re invited to stick around for a relaxed little mixer in the Studio Bar.

The Live Comedy Association represents and connects people working across the UK Live Comedy sector. Members work as comedians, promoters, producers, agents, festival directors, managers and in all areas of the sector. The LCA champions the contribution live comedy makes to the UK and speaks to the government on behalf of the members. And organises networking opportunities for members to meet and share knowledge and information.

Geoff Rowe (Chair) – founder of Leicester Comedy Festival & The UK Kids’ Comedy Festival

Katy Koren – Artistic Director Gilded Balloon, So You Think You’re Funny competition

Barry Ferns – founder member Angel Comedy, Award winning comic/MC

Sikisa – Award winning live and television comic, Wrestle Club

Mick Perrin – Mick Perrin Worldwide – Award winning agency

Ticket holders will receive information on panellists and be invited to submit questions in advance.
