Call Me Daddy – The Musical!

Step into the glittering yet evil world of Crown Cabaret this August, with the Pre-Pride weekend special of Call Me Daddy – The Musical!

This dark workplace comedy follows the staff of a burlesque cabaret, as they try to survive working under the rule of their unhinged, sexist and psychopathic boss. With hilarious songs, unforgettable characters, and plenty of chaos, Call Me Daddy promises a night of outrageous entertainment.

Written and directed by Hannah Etheridge, Call Me Daddy debuted to rave reviews and sold-out performances at Brighton Fringe 2023, 2024 and London RVT. (Call Me Daddy is fictitious, any resemblance of a character to a real person living or deceased is coincidental).

What people are saying...

Fantastic comedy venue, very accommodating to my disability requirements. Never seen a bad comedy show there yet … really good up and coming acts.

What a superb venue. I have been several times. Always a warm welcome and a safe space to enjoy the artists that are more “left field” than other more mainstream venues.

Great time, bar staff were amazing. First time here and will definitely be back. Have been to many comedy clubs in Brighton and this has been the best so far!

Amazing experience with the Komedia staff. They have gone above and beyond to cater for my disabilities at a show on June 5th, making sure I am seated correctly and can easily access the area. Very rare experience nowadays. Thank you again for all your help!

Just the best place if you like comedy. The food is great, the show room cozy and personable. Excellent atmosphere every time. An amazing place to watch a live show. Highly recommended!

Always something interesting happening at Komedia. Probably the venue I find myself at most frequently due to the eclectic mix of acts, comedy, music, club nights, cabaret and random silliness! Feels like the heart of Brighton!

I had not been to this venue before and I have to say that I was very impressed… All the staff I encountered were friendly, helpful and cheerful. I will certainly return!!

This venue’s accessibility information on their website is outstanding. As an autistic wheelchair user it was so amazing to be able to see the layout/3D view of the whole venue… If more venues followed Komedia’s example the world would be a much better place!

We came here on the night of Brighton pride and had an amazing time. Lovely, clean venue with really friendly staff and saw it was clearly accessible.

Such a unique place you have such variety, they are really good at accommodating for the disabled. I loved the drag on a bus, 80’s night and more!! I keep coming back so they are doing something right.

I am happy to say that the customer service replied to my enquiry very quickly. They also have been very helpful and understanding.

Great show with great drinks and food – a fab Friday night, 100% recommend!
