Iqulah Rastafari Live + Salomon Heritage + Rastafari Chant

From the forest to the palace but the lion remains the same. As does the message in the music.

IQulah’s musical style carries a world music feel underpinned by a strong roots reggae foundation. Neatly orchestrated and enhanced by full strings, horns and percussion, played over solid reggae basslines, IQulah prefers to think of his music as The King’s music, fit for audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

The clarity of IQulah’s lyrics tell a story which holds the attention of the listener. No surprise, then, that his collection has been described as ‘messages from the creator in the form of song’

Plus Salomon Heritage…

It all started in the mid 90’s when Roots Arna began to collect record vinyls and specially Jamaican Roots Reggae Music .

As part of the Reggae, the UK Sound System Culture became his main influences to be a Conscious Music Selecter .

After been part of many different Music Collective and Sound System, in 2009 Roots Arna decide to create his own identity: Salomon Heritage . Salomon Heritage build an Home Made Sound System characterize by a Warm and a Clear Sound .

SH became also a Record Music Label access on the melody and the Spiritual Music, that collaborated with many different Producer/Artist like Kibir La Amlak, Murray Man, Prince Jamo, King General, Aba Ariginal and Ras Tweed.

SH Record label have now a large catalog of Maxi’s and LP’s that have been played by many Sound System and Radio Show Internationally (Jah Shaka, Channel One, David Rodigan…)

Roots Arna have being touring all over the world (Europe, USA, Jamaica…) to spread through his Musical Selection the Conscious and Spiritual Message.

Plus Rastafari Chant…

Rastafari Chant was founded in the late 80s by Iyah C and Ras ibi, originally based in Brixton but mainly playing in The Netherlands and Scandinavia, touring with top Jamaica artists, The Itals, The Mighty Diamonds, and The Twinkle Brothers, also sharing the bill with the likes of Dennis Brown, Gregory Issacs, Freddie McGregor, Culture but mainly with Iqulah Rastafari.

Originally working closely with Breda Neil and his Roots and Culture sound, the foundations of which became King Shiloh, producing and recording the very rare and massively sort after 12″ Trod on/ Battle of Adwoa.

The sound disbanded in the mid 90’s when Ras ibi moved to live in Ethiopia, but now Chant is returning to play their unique selection of raw roots Reggae.

What people are saying...

It was honestly the best concert experience I’ve had in a long time! Since being chronically ill, I’ve never felt completely welcome at venues. […] Komedia made me feel completely comfortable and confident in myself during the whole show! […] Although I traveled from London, I will most definitely be returning when I can, choosing it over London venues!

Lovely, intimate venue. Great sound system. Perfect for small concerts.

What a superb venue. I have been several times. Always a warm welcome and a safe space to enjoy the artists that are more “left field” than other more mainstream venues.

Cracking little venue, intimate, great acoustics, friendly staff, middle of town, nice beer selection, fair prices. What more could you want?

Great place to see bands. Not too big . Not too small. Excellent views plus TV screens in all areas. Disabled parking in the street behind. Good eateries locally after gig.

Komedia continues to have club nights that suit all ages. It is a brighton institution that should be revered.
