John Tothill: Thank God This Lasts Forever

Thank God you’re here. John Tothill has missed you so much. It’s actually been hell without you.

A rat who orgasmed to death. The notion of Marmite. The time John deliberately got malaria. We’ve got a lot to catch up on. Pour yourself six glasses of wine and settle in for an evening that, god-willing, won’t end. Maybe we could even have the tiniest cigarette??

The critically-acclaimed John Tothill brings his fantastic new show on his debut UK tour. Chortle’s Best Newcomer nominee 2024. One of 2024 and 2023’s Best-Reviewed Edinburgh Fringe Shows (British Comedy Guide). As seen on Comedy Central Live. Tour support for Fiona Allen.

‘One of the funniest hours of stand-up at this year’s Fringe’ ★★★★★ Telegraph

‘One of the most distinctive stand-up voices of his generation’ ★★★★ Chortle

‘A voice like no one else’s… Excellent show’ ★★★★ Guardian

What people are saying...

Another fantastic evening at Komedia’s Comedy Club! … the best way to spend your Friday or Saturday night in Brighton.

Lovely night with a variety of comedians with different styles. The MC was incredible and really engaged the audience! Highly recommend!

Great set up, good food and drinks and the comedy was stunning too.

The weekend was mega fun! Lovely team and crowd.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and your amazing team for everything you all did to ensure last night’s show was a success!

Excellent venue… have never laughed so much! Nice bar food as well!

Thank you for having us, we had a lovely night!

Came with a couple of friends who don’t generally go to comedy. They loved the evening. Chantal Nash and Gbemi Oladipo were the favourites (Gbemi’s plane section had me crying!). They though the food was great and were impressed with the speed of service. Overall a brilliant night. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Thanks very much to all of you for hosting this – it was a great night!

It’s always entertaining when you sit at the front. The host was great, and the lineup was extremely funny. Well worth a visit great value for money.

Had a great time. Recognisable TV personality hosting. Several hours of comedy. Drink prices reasonable for the area. Lots of laughs.

Fantastic comedy venue, very accommodating to my disability requirements. Never seen a bad comedy show there yet … really good up and coming acts.
