X-Tapes x Molasses: Extended B2B All Night Long

Two collectives. One dancefloor. A powerful b2b journey from open to close.

On September 19th, X-Tapes joins forces with Molasses for a rare all night collab event at Komedia. At the core of the night are two standout voices in Brighton’s scene: Yiota and Atoxyl. Each bringing their distinct sonic worlds together for an extended b2b set that fuses grooves and raw energy. From Yiota’s razor sharp blend of hardgroove, intricate rhythms, and wobbly trance, to Atoxyl’s earthy, groove led techno, where sound becomes resistance and dance becomes collective release.

With passion for diversity and with FLINTA* and POC empowerment at their core, both collectives are acts of reclamation: celebrating roots, breaking boundaries, and building dancefloors where everyone is welcome. Expect raw energy, hypnotic
percussion, and moments that stretch beyond genre or expectation. A space for joy, sweat and connection.

What people are saying...

Many thanks for ‘Let The Sun Shine In’ – we had a great night, thank you to the staff who were excellent!

It was such a fantastic night! All the staff involved were so lovely and friendly, they made us feel at ease and were on hand for anything we needed.

I’m having a Madonna day today and it’s bringing back just how EPIC Madonna night was. I think it was the most fun I’ve had in my 30s, and I’m nearly 40.

We came here on the night of Brighton pride and had an amazing time. Lovely, clean venue with really friendly staff and saw it was clearly accessible.

Great place to see bands. Not too big . Not too small. Excellent views plus TV screens in all areas. Disabled parking in the street behind. Good eateries locally after gig.

Komedia continues to have club nights that suit all ages. It is a brighton institution that should be revered.
