Stories, poetry, comedy from firm friends Robin Ince & Joanna Neary. 

Robin is best known as presenter of The Infinite Monkey Cage for over 200 episodes as well as author of many books; most recently Normally Weird and Weirdly Normal about neurodivergence and his first collection of poetry Ice Cream for a Broken Tooth. 

Joanna loves drawing and maths and is best known as a character comedian on stage, radio and screen.

Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote is a unique and hilarious night featuring games, prizes and audience participation. Hosted by super-fan Tim Benzie, the event features: A race to solve the crime, a Cabot Cove quiz, a singalong to the theme tune with new lyrics, and bios of the campy guest stars.

This is a show about being awarded Best Supporting Actor in your own life, the beauty of fully embracing queerness in your 30s, and the fact that anger may sometimes look more like nursery rhymes and crying on a bike than punching walls and shouting. This show also tries to fathom why Amy’s mum has started keeping milk in the boot of her car, how a potion from 2002 may have cursed the world, and how a pavement stand-off with a bird became a wake-up call.

Funny Women’s longest standing and most successful comedy night, Live in Brighton at Komedia, showcases the very best in new female identifying and non-binary comedy talent alongside professionals and Funny Women Award-winning stars.
